Introducing Salt+Light, Wedding Highlight Films by Otter River Images
Already booked a photographer, but are interested in capturing things as they unfold, in live-action motion? Do you want to capture the vows being read, or the hilarious speech being given by your groom's best man? Or do you just want cinematic footage of all aspects of your wedding day?
In 2024, I am launching Salt+Light by Otter River Images, a cinematic filmmaking experience dedicated to capturing your wedding day in sound and motion!
Most people think of wedding filmmaking as of just capturing the wedding ceremony and boom-that’s it.
My approach is a little different than what is the usual norm. you’ve invested likely tons of time and money into making your wedding perfect. why not capture it all so you can press “start” on your wedding film and relive it all over again and again? I want to capture it all if possible, from the detail rings shots, moments of your mom putting on your heirloom necklace, guests arriving at your ceremony, grandma wiping a few tears away during the ceremony, the groom’s face as he first sees you walking down the aisle, happy moments laughing with your bridesmaids during wedding part formals, smiling with your new spouse during photo formals to the first dance out on the dance floor. I want to capture it all!
What is included
-5-10 minute wedding film overlaid with audio recorded throughout the day and set to tasteful instrumental music that will make you want to hit "play" over and over again.
-delivered online using a private link. Video can be downloaded and easily shared online. Link stays live for up to 1 year; after that a $50.00 re-uploading charge will apply, so download your films ASAP once delivered.
-Per my contract please allow at least up to 120 business days for delivery of your wedding film. My turnaround time is usually much faster on all of my projects regardless if its photography or video

Can I get just ceremony coverage?
While I am specifically specializing in full-day wedding coverage, if you are local to the western Upper Peninsula/Keweenaw areas, if I have the date available I might be able to squeeze you in on my schedule. Let's chat via the inquiry form to see if we are a good fit.
What does your pricing look like?
Since I am soft launching filmmaking, I am still currently working out pricing and am only taking a few select filmmaking jobs in 2024. Please reach out to me and I can review what your needs are and present a quote.
How soon will I get my wedding film?
Per my contracting, please allow up to 120 days for delivery. Highlight films are delivered via digital link through my site, and will also appear on my Otter River Images YouTube platform (coming soon)
How much audio footage will you capture
During the initial inquiry process, I capture as little or as much audio as you would like. If you want just a highlight film with instrumental music, I got you. If you want a full movie complete with audio of the vows, speeches, vows readings, etc, I got you. Just let me know during the booking process and I can get you a custom quote!
