This couple, this day...what a blessing!
When today's bride initially reached out to me and told me about the day they had planned for their small wedding celebration, I was immediately on board.
Their small ceremony was held on the new Houghton waterfront pier next to Portage Lake District Library and if you have not checked out the pier, I highly recommend spending a summer evening there and walk along the canal. It is truly an experience that I love to do frequently.
Houghton weddings are such a vibe and they are by far my favorite as far as location goes. Its not far from where I live and I've spent countless Saturday mornings hanging out in downtown Houghton with family and friends and enjoying all the town has to offer. For anyone on the fence about doing a Houghton waterfront wedding...what are you waiting for. Just do it!
Today's wedding opted for some detail shots, ceremony coverage, family formals, reception coverage and of course my favorite-bride and groom formals! One unique thing about this day/gallery is they had already had a small ceremony several months prior and wanted a day to officially celebrate with their family and friends and I am beyond thankful that they chose Scott and I to capture the day.
